Who I am

Since qualifying as a nurse at the age of 21 I have always found myself working with people. I am passionate about fitness, improving people’s lifestyles, increasing the longevity of their lives, helping to keep people fit and healthy, and supporting people to reach their targets and goals.

Within my nursing career I reached management level so have coached/ taught staff members, patients and relatives for many years. I am a people person and will give 100 per cent to ensuring my client is delivered a complete and timely service in a friendly and supportive manner.

I’ve always been into fitness myself, seeing the benefits mentally and physically on people. I love learning and teaching, I want to give people the knowledge that I have learnt, and help to address co-morbidities and reduce hospital stays e.g., diabetes, weight loss, osteoporosis.

I live locally with my family, enjoy holidays abroad, as I'm always cold, and often find myself exercising in my spare time even if that’s just walking my cheeky dogs!

How I will support you

At Fitness with Anita I use a simple but effective traffic light system to keep you on track with your health mission. You will be marked as either Red, Amber, or Green

Red = You are unhappy, lost motivation, and at risk of giving up

Amber = Something is going wrong, and you need my support

Green = All is good with your fitness journey
